Bilingualism: Engelska Skolan aims to provide the opportunity for all students to reach a high level of proficiency in both English and Swedish so that they can seek further education after grade nine in either language.

The Swedish Syllabus taught in English: Engelska Skolan has a learning environment centered in Swedish society and follows the Swedish syllabus. Swedish geography, history, and civics are taught. Swedish literature is taught in Swedish.

Multiculturalism: The mulituculural blend of our students provides a foundation for enriched lives leading to increased tolerance and understanding.

Computers: Computer literacy is an essential tool for learning. Engelska Skolan encourages global information seeking and exchange through the Internet.

Chess: Chess develops abstract thinking skills and analytical capacity. Interest in chess is encouraged and supported.
