Computers

ESN follows a slightly modified Swedish syllabus in that the school has permission to replace half of the craft time with computer lessons. These lessons have become a part of the technology syllabus.

Because of our emphasis on information technology we have equipped two large computer labs with 26 computers in each along with three smaller labs. In addition, there are computers in each classroom, in the library and in our after school center. In total ESN has more than 150 student computers available for IT lessons or classroom learning and research.

A challenge for the teachers is, of course, to guide students toward effectively and critically using the information they can find from the internet when doing research and class projects.
